Before I post today’s picture, I need to say a few words. I choose to validate my children whenever possible, and encourage their efforts. I realize than not everyone will agree with my choices, but I will counter that God didn’t give these kids to you to raise, He gave them to me. I will also say that red zinnias and orange zinnias often grow in the same flower bed together and they are beautiful in their riotous color. And furthermore,… oh never mind. Drama dressed herself this morning. Lacking the height required to reach her dress clothes, she chose this lovely ensemble. Perhaps some designer baby clothes are in order. It might improve her style, but I’m not sure she could get any cuter.

I used Paint to airbrush the red spot out from under her nose. I don’t know how she scraped it, but it made me cringe in almost all the shots.

Next up is DS#3, and I’ll probably do him the first of the week, since the weekend will be pretty busy.

I took a slew of pictures of this girl child today. There were 54 shots altogether, and here are the decent ones. I’ve done minimal cropping on a few and removed red-eye from a bunch. One of these will be today’s PAD, which I will post later. That will also be the one that goes on my wall.

Or at least I hope it does. Somehow the camera was not set on highest res, so I’ll have to see how my 8×10 print comes out. She’s certainly a gal of a million faces, isn’t she?

Here is DD#4 again, because every time she sees teh camera she asks to have her picture taken, and who can say no to that face? I had it out to take pictures of something else, and just had to oblige her. Besides, it’s raining out, and I’m not gonna take the cam out in the wet.

Because sometimes the best reason to take a picture is because you are a mom, and you can.

Here is DD#4, dressed as a bee. I lacked inspiration today. Well, truthfully I waited too late in the day, and now I am tired, and that is why I am uninspired. Nonetheless, the point of PAD is to use the camera. Here is one of the three pictures I took after writing the above. Because the point is also to stretch yourself. She never even saw me, since she was caught up in Arthur.
