Self Portrait Sunday 08/26/07
You will notice a difference in today’s SPS. I am trying to move away from the same old, same old. I did have a reason for doing that, and had intended to do it for an entire year, but truly, I am tired of taking the picture at my desk each Sunday morning. So we’ll do some more ……… real shots for awhile, I think. Unless I chicken out. I actually tried to take one yesterday, outside, but well, I’ll throw it up, too, so you can see what happened.
What I am rambling on about is this: you don’t have to take the picture on Sunday. Take it anytime during the week. Maybe you go somewhere interesting, or do something fun. Take your picture whenever, and just post on Sunday.

My shot has mega light come from the side. Sunday ‘morning’ isn’t always actually morning for me. I notice a lot of SPS participants have young children. Sunday mornings get a lot better when they are old enough to make toast.

I need to start doing my SPS during the week… half the time, I get around to taking the picture, and I’m all out of steam. This week is a perfect example lol
I like the mascara picture… did you close your mouth for the picture, or do you always manage to put your mascara on with your mouth closed? I thought that was impossible!

Yeah, Cass - how do you do your eyes without your mouth hanging open, as in “duh!” I’ve never have mastered that skill. You look good doing it, but you always look good whatever you’re doing
