Here is an azalea bloom for you to enjoy. I have mini-azaleas, not the big ones. This is new growth, and the buds are quite near the ground. The taller part of the bush is not yet blooming, or even very leafed out for that matter.

Here is my one of my sofas. I haven’t seen it since early last week when my cousin dropped off a load of hand-me-downs, and I had him put them on it. Thats where they sat until the Great Excavation of 2007 was complete. Today, I finally sorted them.

It’s another “what is this” day, but it’s not a spider this time. This stuff is a vine, it’s growing up some saplings in my yard. Does not smell like honeysuckle, my mother thought it was yellow-bell and then changed her mind, and it smells like jasmine. I love the golden color. What say you all?

This my friends is a Redneck Bible. You can see I have had to repair it with duct tape, because it got dropped a few too many times, and the cover boards started splitting from the spines. There’s one good thing to say about a Bible that looks like this: at least you know it’s been used.

Socks for 10. I posted in a forum that my family has a bazillion pairs of socks. The other ladies there thought it was funny, and we had quite a sock discussion. Here I am presenting visual proof that we have the most socks. Folks, this is not even all of them. There’s more in the drawers, ok? Clearly, I am the sock winner!

Today was the first day back after our break for spring cleaning. These are the books I read to my younger students this morning. Getting to share great books with my children has got to be my favorite part of homeschooling.

This is the hair DD#3 lost today when she got a curling brush tangled in her hair about 2 inches from the scalp. It took about an hour to get her loose. Can you say “ouch”?

Here’s DD#5 in the computer armoire. We’ve had it together for about a week, but have not yet gotten around to putting together the computer pieces and parts to go in it. She loves to crawl into that little cubby where the tower is supposed to be. She’ll be so disappointed once the computer goes in there.
